Martin Bissett

Martin Bissett is the founder of the Bissett Group of companies.

Previously he established a high six figure consulting firm while serving as a keynote speaker with over 100 one off and repeat engagements to his name, as well as becoming the most published author on his topics of specialism with 14 books including 1 bestseller.

Since 1998, he has played a major part in working with over 1800 accounting firms in over 40 countries. These projects have led to those firms acquiring over £500m of recurring fees before inflationary increases, referrals and upselling are factored in. He stopped keeping track of this number over 5 years ago.

Martin now advises both accounting practitioners and FinTech companies alike, at board level.
His consulting firm has attracted 7-10 figure clients such as Intuit, Dext, IRIS, Satago, BKR International, ICAEW, PICPA, AICPA, RBI, IAF and more.

His membership communities have attracted 7-10 figure clients such as, Xero, Worldfirst, Bright Group, MoneyPenny, Diversified, Fathom, Freeagent, Woodard, K2, AdvancedTrack and more.

Outside of his own businesses, he serves on the boards of directors of HWL Innovation, F3C Advantage, WIP Group, Advisory 101 Ltd and others.

His speaking typically includes 10-20 keynotes a year at major conferences and his prolific publishing includes over 100 articles and 14 books, including his best-seller, Passport to Partnership (from CPA Trendlines). His newest is Never Mind The Bullets (CPA Trendlines 2022). His books have been on the curricula at PICPA and the Bolton School of Business.

His career has taken him around the world including 23 US States and has been namechecked and asked to write contributions to books by contemporaries such as Mike Michalowicz, Alex Parker, Femke Hogema, Reza Hooda and others.

Martin has published 14 books to date and is the most published author on his topics relating to accountancy. He has received global recognition for his work and his involvement in the accounting industry. His work has been included in the formal educational accounting curriculum in the UK and the US.

More recently Martin has published three illustrated stories, The Climb, Letting Go & The Magical North, with two further publications due for release later this year.

Martin is also an Ambassador for the Young Money Charity who count Martin Lewis amongst their patrons.
